Newsweek: Colbert's Super PAC raises over $1... →
think-progress:
Dear Sirs and Sirettes,
Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow (ABTT) would like it entered into the record that as of January 30th, 2012, the sum total of our donations was $1,023,121.24.
Stephen Colbert, President of ABTT, has asked that I quote him as saying, ”
Stephen Colbert is awesome!

Stephen Colbert: You used to be the managing editor of Newsweek, correct?
Mark Whitaker: I was.
Stephen Colbert: Okay, for some of my younger viewers, what was a “magazine”?

Interesting.
Voldemort is a lot like a teenage girl.
He has a diary, a favourite ring and necklace, a tiara, a special cup, a pet he adores, and an obsession with a famous teenage boy.
Hahahaha! Voldie

where does your time go
I had my day all planned out. Now I am the type of person that tries to plan things out, but is a lost cause 10 minutes into the day. I feel I need to warn you. If we ever have plans to meet up and I say that I will be somewhere in 30 minutes. Rest assure that I will be there in an 1hr and 30 minutes. I don’t think I do it on purpose, its just that I take my time and don’t feel I need...
What now
Now that I have a bit of time before the next quarter begins, I need to start reading. I have a couple of books that I would like to start, but I know that my procrastination will only let me read 1. I am thinking of starting a painting/finishing a painting that I have been working on for the past year.

what to read, what to read
For the last couple of months, I have not been able to read as much as I would like. With school, work, and procrastination I have been kept rather busy. My shelves are lined with titles that I have been collecting for the past 8 years. Definitely my buying is out pacing my reading. I was currently reading the book Loot, which is about a book on stolen art. Unfortunately, I have misplaced my book...
needs to start bringing lunch to work
I was going over my expenses today after an early morning meeting at 7:30am and realized that since October 23 I have spent over $320 on fast food. Time to go back to my budget of a $1 a day for food. I thought not carrying any cash with me was going to work out for the best. Need to rethink my strategy.
At the moment I am munching on some saltine crackers instead of making myself a good meal....
Procrastination
My first quarter is almost over and I have 1 and a half papers due by the end of the quarter. I say half becuase one of the papers is an extra credit paper that I just found out about, which is the reason that I drove to Santa Barbara to see a particular mural.
The paper that I do have to write about is on a medieval piece. Now living in a large metropolitan city, you would think that it would be...
what a day
My day started at 7:30 this morning. Went to work in my little black box of a scion. I did my 5 hours of work and off to school I went. First class at 1:30 is my medieval art class which is not as exciting as some of other periods of art, but it is art and I get to learn a bit here and there. One major plus is that the professor is hot and I get to take 2 classes with her next quarter. Watched a...

on Saturday 14 November 2009 I traveled with a great friend of mine to Santa Barbara for the sole purpose of looking at a mural from one of “los tres grandes”. the trip up there was great as my friend and i talked about politics, education, and sports. Siquerios originally produced this mural in a pacific palisades home. it is one of his few murals to survive in...
