My first quarter is almost over and I have 1 and a half papers due by the end of the quarter. I say half becuase one of the papers is an extra credit paper that I just found out about, which is the reason that I drove to Santa Barbara to see a particular mural.
The paper that I do have to write about is on a medieval piece. Now living in a large metropolitan city, you would think that it would be a little easier to find something in a large museum. It just happens that two of the major museums in Los Angeles happen to be renovating some of their collection rooms so some are closed off. At the Getty, they happen to be rotating their works. Luck should have it that I visited the Getty the night before they closed their manuscripts room to rotate the works. Now I love art, but manuscripts are a little hard to get excited about. I have been sitting on starting my paper for about 2 weeks now and I have less than 3 weeks left to finish it.
We will see what happens. Damn the internet and all of its black holes of nonsense.
